Chill it on the seltzer Agnes. He’s not a slapstick fan.

It looks in panel 2 as though her act kinda fell flat anyway.

To be sent straight to the principal’s office is adding insult to (literal) injury.

Yet by panel 3, she’s right on track, pushing towards her dream….that kid defines resilience.

Maybe not “persistence”, though, cos tomorrow’s goal will be different.

And I love that somebody now knows that IOWA…remember recent news? is better remembered for its apt political choices…ie, worthy of pratfalls and sub-human cries mocking its choices… the IOWA caw-caws resound across the land, lacking only the seltzer…

Them’s fightin’ words tigre1. I’ve participated in Iowa caucuses. They are outspoken and hectic, but a perfect example of our freedom of speech in action. BTW, do you know the state capital?

You know, “Des Moines” is kind of a funny name in itself. But not physically.

Mona — I haven’t said anything significantly different from what you said…. simply, once again, a semantic difference.

I didn’t define her “dream”, per se; I merely referred to her (and jokingly at that) as not defining “persistence” because every few days she picks a new goal.

It therefore depends upon whether you’re looking at her daily projects or her life’s ambition…

I was was defining “persistence” by actions, which for Agnes, change with her short term goals, and not by thoughts.

We agree that in her mind, she will never accept being ordinary, much less insignificant.

I do have to wonder, however, whether you simply enjoy starting posts with “you’re wrong.”

Victoria, Whitehorse, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Toronto, (Ottawa), Quebec, Fredericton, St John’s, Halifax, Charlottetown. Iqaluit, Yellowknife.

.Now will someone tell me the state capital of Iowa? Cause like Agnes, there is only soooooo much fact and figures that will stay stuffed in the brain.
