When they were excavating for Kaneohe Bay Naval Air Station, there was unearthed a large collection of skulls in the dunes, apparently from one of the last battles of the consolidation of the islands, where the opposition was backed up the Pali and pushed off. The skulls were collected at the bottom and taken away to the dunes, so they could never get back together.
My Dad had one for a little while, with red and green flashing lights in the eye sockets. Mom made him get rid of it. Sigh.
