    T.W.C. gets by on a lot of “partly cloudy with a chance of showers” … it does seem to be a lot of “guess – timation”

    I like when the weatherperson says “50% chance of showers”, that means: “It may rain, or it may not”! LOL!!

    I think it depends on where you live. I grew up in Maryland and the weather there was notoriously difficult to predict. I always assumed that it was because of the interactions between the Allegheny mountains, the Atlantic ocean, the Bay, etc. Here in Mississippi, though, all you have to do is look at the weather in Arkansas or Texas and that’s the weather you’re going to have tomorrow or the next day.
