One of my favorite stories was when a friend, explaining a TV networks promotion of the “31 Days of February” (because of the number of days needed to premier new shows), convinced his wife it was due to a needed correction to the calender (similar to what is done occasionally at the end of some years with a “leap second”. He was in deep do when she was embarrassed at work after explaining it to her co-workers in the break room. He could be so convincing and logical with his made up stories.
