“No, boy; you may need an onion but I don’t want you to have one!”

Onions are poison to dogs. The dogs clean the other stuff from the floor, but the Pluggers love their dogs too much to poison them.

A dog – the best floor cleaner I can think of!

I Barkcum regularly. No crumbs on my floors. Lots of fur buffalos tho.

I wonder how many dogs they fed onions to before they determined onions were poisonous to them.

My dog got into the trash, got sick, and left a mess on the floor that he was sorry about. I spent a couple of hours getting it out of the rug and then had to hide the clean spot.

You could eat off my floors, but you need to be a dog. If it was good enough for Henry the Eighth…

Onions, chocolate, grapes…. A lot of “human” food is poisonous to dogs. Fortunately meatloaf is not.

Interesting what you can learn in the comics… I never knew onions were bad for dogs.

I keep thinking the female one is a kangaroo. Not that that’s a bad thing. :)

As long as the meat loaf doesn’t contain a lot of onions. Oh, you can add raisins (well, they are dried grapes, after all) and squid to the list of human foods bad for dogs.

BTW, I lost a dog to onion poisoning – though the onions were not supplied by me.

We never had that “5 second” rule in our house – we had dogs! They would get it on the way down!
