A M E N !!!

I AM a plugger! I feel some of those border on the sacriligious

God said make a “joyful noise.” Even contemporary services are praising Him.

It can get ridiculous!

Any place they use an amplifier, they seem to overuse it to the threshold of pain. It’s not just because I’m an Old Guy; I’ve always hated too-loud music…unless it’s Beethoven, that is. :)

We use some in the church I attend…contempory…and the “good ole” songs. That way, neither the younger members nor the older members get upset.

And I’m the guy that runs the sound and light board, LOL

Use them in restaurants as well. Can’t believe that I am half deaf and yet loud noises hurt.

The only thing that is good loud is ol’ time rock’n’roll.

Some church PA systems can crank it to eleven without the help of the music ministry. The high treble can be especially jarring.

I wish one of the major denominations would merge with Bose.
