Good morning Annie fans.-—-@davidf42: that would explain why he wears googles. And it would be an interesting plot twist.-——Be happy and healthy my friend.
FAMOUS COSTUMED CRIMEFIGHTERS SCHOOLBoca Raton, FLLesson #24: Staying (Too Much) in CharacterThe aspiring crusader will, no doubt, start getting an odd form of pleasure from his own exploits, which can serve to keep him going in his chosen profession. But, as in all things, too much of anything can be bad for you.In the depicted case above (who has already blown his career by using deadly force in the presence of a pre-teen sidekick, so we will refer to him as “Captain Snafu”), the problem of leaving behind potential evidence could have been easily solved by getting out of costume and switching back to referring to himself in first person singular, so that anyone who might be walking the shoreline nearby might not know his identity. But he is so deep ‘into character" that a simple solution is not beyond his reach, but beyond his imagination. Never be so deep into your own mythology that it prevents you from taking even the simplest of actions. Or, as the drug dealers are reputed to say, "Don’t get high on your own supply…"

“Captain Snafu”—how apt a name! A tip of the hat to you, TXPAScot!
Indeed, Davidf42, quite a “vampire”-like attitude Captain Snafu is portraying (I’m getting to like Scot’s name for him)
All of a sudden I’m hearkening back to a classic bit from another masked caped crusader:“I AM THE TERROR, THAT FLAPS IN THE NIGHT!!”—Darkwing Duck
