@ammittai – CostCo dogs are self-powered. Excess energy is expelled from the rear for hours on end after they are consumed.

itisme said, “I wished they would let us know when an artist goes on vacation! This strip is from two years ago.”They do let you know. They rerun old strips. That’s how you know. Simple.I’d rather read old Get Fuzzy strips than new installments of most of the other strips anyway.

it’s like those old hotdog cookers that that you put a prong on each end and then plug it in the electricity flowed between the prongs and cooked the hotdog

A guy I knew said he cooked hotdogs this way in college. Then one day he accidentally plugged in the forks before picking them up to put into the hotdog. Said if he wouldn’t have fallen backwards, pulling the cord out of the wall, he might have been there til he cooked…

My grandson was dared by another kid to put a fork in the outlet. He took the dare and blew out the fuse box, but he was not harmed in anyway, other than a severe reprimand. Darby does offer great dialog and most of you have interesting and entertaining comments. Thanks

That is an advantage of growing old. You tend to forget what you read two years ago!

I’ve found that it’s best to ignore him. Some people thrive on being annoying.

I’d love to have a copy of the old Jack Vaughn cartoon about Dr. Wendell Hosemeier, inventor of the garden hose… who died in obscurity because he did not invent the spigot! Cute little JV scientist guy with green hose in his hand, saying “Vy doesn’t it vork!” Back when Mother Earth News was worth a read…
