I have a hard time believing that Rip would dump a girl that he was already engaged to.In fact, I have a hard time in believing that Rip could have been engaged to anyone before Cobra. He just did not seem ready for it until now.Man, I sure am trying to read a lot into a “send up” of the adventure strip. It must be the writing!

Wait, does this mean this was some kind of arranged marriage like in other lands? Anyway, the family that’s thrown under the bus together stays together, or something! :-) I don’t know what I’m looking forward to more, the next RH strip, or the Oscars? Sweet molly Mcheadlop! our hero cannae die. RJ would be orphaned again, unless Fawn takes him in or Dutch. but that is kind of one and the same now.
