    In Word 2003, pressing the insert key will turn “Overtype” mode on. This is a feature that erases letters to the right of your cursor as you type, which can be frustrating if you don’t understand why it’s happening. However, the insert key is no longer linked to Overtype mode in newer versions of Word.

    Man, he could have pressed insert, capslock and numlock keys and sent the IT dept. reeling for days!
