Monty: Hey... I just came by the gallery t'see how th' new job's goin'... Moondog? Moondog?! Moondog: Hm? Oh, sorry. I'm sort of out of it... I've been watching a video installation of some ants crawling on a teacup for 3 1/2 hours... say, do I have anything on my neck? Monty: Just some deeply ingrained scratch marks.

Moondog, as a security guard, you shouldn’t allow yourself to be distracted by a looped video of ants on a teacup! And, even more so, you should not be so weak-willed as to let the video cause you to inflict self-harm! Shame, Moondog, shame!

In a museum I got too close to a statue for piucture taking and set off alarms. Oops.

Our art gallery will allow you to lean in over the ropes (that are at ankle height) almost as close as you want. Just make sure your hands are behind your back, or some soft soled person will scare the living daylights out of you by whispering don’t touch in your ear.

I try to stay at least body length away from anything valuable. I’m a little klutzy and have been know to start chain reaction events. .I would have to laugh at an art display like that. Well…..laugh then maybe scratch…. just a little. LOL
