Brutus: Who do you admire more, Washington or Lincoln?
Mr. Veeblefester: Lincoln, obviously!
Brutus: Why?
Mr. Veeblefester: He's on the five dollar bill, Washington is only on the one dollar bill!
He should go crazy over Grover Cleveland and absolutely wild about Woodrow Wilson. James Madison isn’t bad, either. Personally, I’m partial to Thomas Jefferson.
After I saw that documentary on the History Channel a few years ago, now I know why Ben Franklin is on the $100 bill…that’s the number of children he fathered! LOL
i can’t remember what tv show, but one did go out and randomly interview folks on the street, asking them “other than flying a kite, what was Franklin famous for?”. not one in the ten or so they flashed on the screen came up with false teeth, spectacle, or anything else correct (most answered with being on a 50[!!] or 100 dollar bill).

It’s funny (and sad) that many people believe Ben Franklin was a U.S. president because he is on the $100.00 bill.

Was it Firesign Theater that called Franklin “the only President of the United States who was never President of the United States”?

Lincoln’s on the penny and Washington’s on the quarter, but change is probably not in the boss’s wheelhouse.
