Wanna be like granny Lange. Or my great grandmom. She lived alone on the farm, walked the 2 miles everyday to the corner store to get her milk. Or newpaper or eggs. She found an excuse every day to get out and walk. Didn’t matter what the weather. .I think most of us have someone like that in our family trees.

Probably the state or other local government thought she shouldn’t be living by herself anymore. She probably had property they wanted.
