@Leaky, I think I sent it (as we finally have the warm weather I was waiting for this week) and I’m up way too late inspite of my allergies giving eye problems. I’ve had far too much fun at the red tail hawk site (even took this screenshot of the female)

    Mornin’ All -

Yup yup yup.Clap loudly and turn on he overhead light. Lets the baby know you’re there, so she feels secure. If that was always Ma’s method, it explains a lot about Verl and Joy.Probably it wasn’t though…. this is actually just an excuse to re-gift the “clapper” she won at Bingo in 1992. The light bulb isn’t over any of their heads, that’s for sure.

GymShoe — Besides, they’d want to eat even more at a movie called The Hunger Games. They don’t play games when it comes to hunger,.Marg…. yes, every baby should have a chemistry set, and know how to apply make-up.No time to waste in this modern world!Pretty astute for a woman of 82 to realise that. And ..um…“Joey”… it must have been your lucky day.Watch out for those Long Island Lolitas, though. They’re predatory.

Mrs Darwin? Survival of the fittest Darwin? Is she and her family the exception that proves the rule? Or fittest for what? Living without a brain?I remember (yes, I DO remember that far back!) when our babies were new the last thing in the world we would want to do is turn on the “big light” and wake the little buggers up!

Exchange the Clapper for a baby monitor with a mute button.

Thanks, Marge and good morning all!I remember that LIL ans also remember ehen I had babies in diapers (in early 60s – my first 2 were separated by just a year and 10 days). My second called yesterday for extra statistics because his security status needs an upgrade for business. Mrs Buttafuoco was clueless enough to fit in with the Pennys.

Not only are most of the presents so wrong for a baby, someone (maybe Joy) decided not to spend anything and just brought along a bag full of saved bowls (presumedly used at least once) maybe some are from cream cheese and Kool Whip from Joy’s only attempts at cooking.

I looked for the light bulb and immediately spotted four dim bulbs…and something printed on a green shirt.Mrs. DARWIN????And would someone define “Drosiness”? Is it a malady confined to Crustwood? Is there a vaccine to prevent it from spreading?

Dave, I certainly remember hot dog cookers! My aunt had bought gifts for a zillion showers and weddings, so she retaliated with a huge shower for my sister’s in 1971.The presents included THREE hot dog cookers (and 4 blenders, BTW.)Two of them (and two blenders) proved to be re-gifted and no longer returnable (which is how I got my blender.)They were all meant for cooking 5 or 6 hot dogs at a time, by means of a row of prongs down each side so you could line them up like a washboard and electrocute them from inside. We didn’t eat hot dogs, and thought the whole idea was awful and hysterical. I think those single ones came later, pushed at children in TV commercials..

Most children’s chemistry sets have gone away as well, but they still market glitter makeup to little girls. I used to have one of those slicers for fries (not really bad) but I now have a mandoline and a cavatelli maker. I DID buy those Swivel shelves with the optional reinforement and I’ll be careful NOT to buy anything from that company again (they’re in the box in my garage, as the website is ONLY for orders and no returns even though they are too tall for anyone’s normal kitchen cabinets

I see my typing was especially bad early this AM but my allergies and accompanied eye distress are improving. I havw enjoyed that cam so much and very good because although weather is great, the back and forth of lighting is very irritating to my eyes. Have a great evening everyone! .Even though it will be under 60F tonight I plan to sleep in fresh air (with allergies) because right now I see 84 ;-DGood night!
