The Fink could always become a snowbird and move to Arizona to get his golf in. Although. I think that the citizens down there might be getting a bit tired of all the finks that are already there.
Season? You mean there’s supposed to be a break somewhere? I’ve just come off the course after an exhilarating round in a wind of around 30 mph and a temperature around 8C, but in bright sunshine.
Two of my uncles were avid golfers in Illinois. each year when they lost the ball in a snowdrift they decided it was time to take a break from golf. Of course, they resumed the game as soon as they could find the tees and the greens.I once saw a PGA tournament in Pensacola FL where a crew of greenskeepers were using towels to soak up the puddles on the greens, the fairways were one huge water hazard, though..
