Stuck in a vacuum, are we? Hollywood (and TV) sell what the people buy. If we stop buying, they’ll stop trying to sell formula films and TV shows. Meanwhile, we’re stuck with what we’re willing to pay for, and we’re paying happily for the crap they put out according to the box office receipts.
Michael Moore churns out left wing propaganda, and he most certainly is not interested in the truth or in lifting anyone’s spirits but those who worship at his feet. Check out “The Real Michael Moore”, a documentary produced by a Canadian journalist who admired Moore and wanted to interview him. Rebuffed, she followed Moore around trying to get to meet him and makes a lot of discoveries along the way, discoveries that change her opinion of Moore. Just as an example, the journalist discovered that “Roger and Me” left out the fact that Moore actually met Roger three times. And that is just the beginning.

For your information movie stars have been coming from all over the globe for a century. Case in point: Errol Flynn was from Tasmania.

Ziggy, of all the interesting places in this country to visit, why in the world would you even WANT to go to Hollywood?
