You know, science fiction writers back in the day imagined a lot of things that have happened since — but I can’t think of one who ever dreamed that we would achieve space travel, get to the moon…and then simply quit because we got bored and it was more trouble than it was worth..We, as a society, lost our balls, our spine, and our spirit, all at the same time. It’s really unspeakably depressing.
We needed the money to pay for wars(so huge multinational corporations – that wouldn’t even claim to be US corporations) could make more money. Our country puts corporations first(and doesn’t even charge them the same percentage of income taxes), We are all third class citizens(?).
