The First Amendment does not allow someone to use my property or cause me to spend money against my will. In other words no other person has the right to call me when I have expressed my desire for them not to especially as I only have a cell phone.
A voice of reason crying out in the wilderness, you have to love moderates, they’re so reasonable. This is especially poignant since both sides of our partisan country are slinging ever larger more vulgar insults at each other. They all sling mud as the country sinks in quicksand.
Perhaps we need a federal law banning all telemarketing, enforced with a $1 million fine assessed on the company and a 5-year prison term for the person making the call.
