Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday, Thom and everyone. I didn’t expect that much of a response. But then the great community is one of the things that keeps me coming here. That and the great comics. And the highlights for adults finding things in the drawings.fran650, I try to show ‘em that attitude. I like saying to the younger new runners, "I’ve been a runner longer than you’ve been." Easier to say than type and have it be obvious that the second been means existed.Speaking of highlights for adults, I’ll start that by noting there’s eyes and a nose on the sigh. If there’s a mough, it’s covered by the GONE FISHIN’ banner’s G.There’s also a profile face or two in his hair.

A panhandler in a town near me got his mug on tv recently . . . for buying a big screen tv in Walmart. Now, I wonder where a “homeless” person is going to put that?!?

Is there anywhere to fish for free any more?

I guess it’s proof of that old saying: “Give a man a fish, and he will eat for one day. Teach a man to fish, and you may never see him again.”
