Paid his late fees, has he? Sure it’ll go through, he’s one of Blockbuster’s best customers—in the For Adults Only section. Although some of the products have been “contaminated” and have to be discarded. It stands to reason that Monkey Ward was the last outfit that extended credit to Burl. That’s probably what put the final nail in their coffin.
The place must be REALLY cheap if any one of them is offering to pay!
I took Burl’s remark as a cut….meaning that his now defunct MW card was just as likely to work as Jerry’s video store card, and that Jerry knows it, and doesn’t really intend to pay any of it, much less the whole tab..
Burl’s on to Jerry’s annoying, empty gesture … you know, after all, he offered to pay.
I don’t think any normal eatery (even a chain) uses that type of rental chairs that are ubiquitous in banquet halls so maybe this is a business function that they were required to attend. Certainly no fine dining place would have a “mystery” special.
You know these guys never go anywhere but the Silver Roundup Buffet our on Route 10. The one with the free rolls and the bottomless popcorn shrimp pieces bowl. Except when the go to the Cup O’Pizza.
Stooges, Marx Bros., Laural and Hardy, Abbott and Castello. I loved them all.
When I was 6 the Three Stooges actually did a live tour. My grandfather took me to see them at the county fair. I was ecstatic. I was too youn to remember who was replacing Curly then, probably Curly-Joe. I know Curly and Shemp were already passed.
My BF had a collection of 3 Stooges movies. I did not care for most of the really early comics. The shows I grew up loving were Show of Shows (Imogene is the greatest female comic ever -especially the routines with Sid Caesar) although I did like Uncle Milty on Fireside Theater and his drag routines. I alway found the timely humor otherwise to be the funniest (Smothers Bros, TR3 and even Laugh In).
@Susan, I hope you get your sound back. I have been watching at the Ithica RT Hawks and hatching should start tomorrow (I need sound there). I was astounded to find that I do not need to file taxes this year (first time in my adult life) but happy- I HATE forms! I just need to keep trying to simplify my life.

Looking at Burl, Jer and Dale reminds me that the new “3 Stooges” movie opens today. One group’s “funny” is another group’s “pathetic”.

If anyone has Finale’s suggestion on DVD I would love to get a copy (I need to dump dozens of VHS tapes)
