Earl: Pop, while you were off babysitting, things just exploded around here... I had to hire some college kids to handle Bahrain while I focused on Yemen... it's been intense, who knew so many of our clients would need our attention all at once? Duke: Let me ease back in. I'll take the Syria desk. Earl: Good choice. See you at dinner.

Syria hired Russia and China as its mouthpieces while Duke was distracted.

That explains so much about Syria …

GT would never admit that those who rule by apartheid pose the greatest threat to the USA: for instance, those who rule by apartheid have deliberately killed more Americans than Iran has. But our dimwitted president, egged on by the cretins running for the Republican nomination, is doing his best to hike the cost of gasoline by imposing tighter restrictions on those who trade with Iran.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure this is a re-run as well as last weeks, even if the date is changed, I remember this one from before. For proof, how recent was the Yemen uprising?

Look at the year between the first and second panels – “2011”. This is a rerun, folks.

Is it? Maybe this is the first time it’s been run but we all slipped into a wormhole that brought us back to then.

Ah, Gladly, old boy…knew you’d show up. Tell your boss-of-bosses I still want him to do the perpwalk for dealing with Iran all these years. And that he’s a punk, and he doesn’t hire very smart trolls and shills.

Rerun for sure. I am beginning to worry about GT. He seems to have vanished after the, ‘Texas Abortion’ arc.

Yeah…Gladly doesn’t get that reruns are no more welcome in the Comments section than they are in the strip itself..And for the record, one and all: the spike in the price of gasoline is the result of (a) seasonal market pressure, and (b) more important, the shortage of pipeline capacity to get the oil (which is not particularly in a shortage) to the refineries that make it into gasoline — in other words, it’s not a shortage issue, but a production bottleneck. Iran has zero to do with it one way or the other.

Now that Olbermann got the axe, does that make Al Gore the worst person in the world?
