I tried contacting you with my brainy power of telepathy today, but all I got was a busy signal. I was probably taking a nap. Naps are for babies and older people. Or for a dog who never allows itself an entirely restful night of sleep so that his owner can have one.

That is true devotion—a dog who needs to take cat naps so he can watch over his master at night. You’ve got to love Rover!

Yes, let’s remember that Rover is Red’s guardian angel dog, a point driven home much more strongly in 1999 than nowadays.
