That kitten should be named Damien.

Cat hurts Slim, Slim can’t work, bills pile up, garage goes belly up, cat ends up back with Rufus or in the street. Moral of the story, lose the cat.

Clovia should take the kitten into the office. His mischief is slowing down work. And time = money.

This is the first time I can remember being negative about this strip, ever. Sorry, the cat story isn’t funny. And this strip in particular isn’t either. Animals and accidents show a lack of thought and imagination. Sorry to see this strip shrink to the lowest common denominator “America’s Funniest Home Videos” style humor. Weak. Maybe it’s time for these guys to retire.

Wonder if the cat is a reincarnation of someone who passed away in Slim’s past. Can’t think why a cat would know how to push a button he’s never seen before or even know a button is for pushing. I’ve seen hydraulic lifts controlled with buttons.

that cat is my hero

A cat will learn if it’s seen an action often enough. We have cats that will unlatch a hook on a door, open cabinets and look quite obviously at a doorknob when they want you to open the door.
