Why the year 2101? Perhaps Lio is usually supposed to be an eleven year old boy; that would make him 100 in this strip and round numbers are … good or something? No, I’d guess it’s a 2001 reference with a century added to make it relevant. (Sigh) It’s sad when all the good sci-fi dates are going by without neat sci-fi stuff happening. 1984 & 2001 have passed and still no flying cars.
