It looks like panels 3 and 4 are reversed. I also wonder why so many Sunday strips are presented in this format. Doing this causes one panel to be omitted.

It is this way on Sunday strips because they custom them for the paper in which they are going. Some papers do not allow as much space as others. Cartoonist will make a couple non-essential panels that help flow the story, but won’t be crucial if they are taken out to allow room.
Unfortunately, this allows things like panels being switched now and then. And sometimes sadly the wrong panel(s) being omitted.

I realize that this is only a comic strip but the fellow with the lawnmower seems to be drawn to appear Hispanic. Isn’t that rather a stereotype?

It’s kind of fun to read a mixed up panneled comic strip. Sluggo’s house should be bulldozed. Poor kid.

Blondie was cropped in the local paper a couple days ago, totally eliminating the punch-line.Does correct order really matter? Projectionist at the local drive-in (remember tham?) showed a five reeler one night, but realized he had shown reels 1-2-4-3-5, but no one noticed.
Hmmm? So the next night he ran them 1-4-3-2-5 and nobody noticed. (It was a war movie – one battle like the next!)
