I read the HUGE “Doonesbury” 40th anniversary book awhile back. (That book weighs more than Jeff, probably…..) Roland was less of an incompetent in a lot of old strips, more of an exposer of other incompetents.

sadly, a lot of the news our kids get are via twitters, youtube and so forth … no analysis on why we are still in Afghanistan and what goals have been met and so forth

The last panel gives us GBT’s only reliable snapshot of Jeff. Wherever he may fancy himself—-in his mansion, riding out as Sorkh Razil, putting down his newspaperman father, , lounging at Walden, being interviewed by Becca—-the actual Jeff is having a beer with his cell phone and Zipper.

I don’t “get” Twitter" much, but I gather that anyone who signs up can log on to your tweets and follow you. In other words, it is not a phone call. It’s not my favorite thing to do either.

This is starting to smell like a Duke & Earl (heavy on Duke) operation. The way I see it, for anyone else it’s fine, but if you’re in the SS then you have to pay whatever the hooker says even if you think it’s a rip-off, and if they still don’t shut up then send them to Guantanamo, case closed.

I’m afraid that under the current administration America’s covert instincts are starting to dull. I wonder if this was Karma’s response to the Fed raid on Oaksterdam U the other day?
