A broken guitar in a Dumpster, and Agnes sees a whole new life, one of fame and personal satisfaction.I am amazed by this strip nearly every day.

I have a feeling that somehow the lettuce will bring this to an inconclusive end.

Agnes works with what life gives her.No money, no big house? OK, she’ll start a garbage band, instead of a garage band.

Play some Garbage on that Gibson.

I remember a girl…14, 15? who wanted a BASS! she had gone thru a dozen “I wannas” in the month before, and her Momma…a single friend of mine…wasn’t having ANY of it.

I got it for her,,,no lettuce attached! and got her ‘into’ a band…I think she played a month until she found out what it did to her nails!!

And you know what? 25 years later she remembers…and I remember the kegger party I didn’t go to, the one she held at her Mom’s place when she and her new hubby were on honeymoon…you go, Agnes.

All Agnes needs is once in a while a kind harmless adult…

Wow, I’ll bet Slash is incredibly flattered to be likened to David Partridge in terms of guitar playing abilty. What a great honor!
