For those who point out that Facebook “Likes” can’t buy stuff:
Most of the excess wealth accumulated by the already wealthy doesn’t materially improve their lives. It’s like game tokens, a way of keeping track how much they’re “winning”. That’s why most CEOs who already have more money than they’ll ever spend STILL want the big bucks and tons of stock incentives. It shows how important and successful they are.
