I think Duffy’s making fun of himself…He used to do a whole strip about a psychiatrist.I was called “Go Fish”…I read it online for several years but it seems to have disappeared…. may have been unsuccessful.Actually I used to buy weird JC Duffy greeting cards (that totally confused my friends) before he HAD a comic strip,so I’m not sure how long ago he did Go Fish.

This strip shows why psychiatry is so important, and why Dr Kapuchnik is such a good therapist, he sees the truth. Plus he looks better back in the bowtie.

Dr. Kapuchnik is on to something.

I love the tails on the word balloons on this strip. They look kind of like jellyfish arms.

“DetourJ” — one of my favorite BD cards ever was his, with pigs gathered around a pig-snout-shaped, decorated cake, and a caption something like (sorry to parphrase, JCD) “Nothing makes a friend happier on his birthday than a cake shaped like his nose.” Did NOT earn me high points in the roses and puppies and sweet sentiments brigade.
