Poncho, the realization that existence is meaningless per se needn’t prevent you from giving your own existence meaning. You are the center of your universe, and its boundaries, and all of its substance.

The best encapsulation of the solution to the Existentialist Dilemma that I’ve seen was in the strip Agnes last Spring.

Agnes (thinking): “I am an insignificant speck, adrift in an uncaring universe.”

Grandma (off-panel): “Agnes, come fold the laundry out of the dryer!”

Agnes: “I guess I might as well be a helpful insignificant speck.”

We really need a visit from Droolia or Poo Poo soon.
