I can see your point of view. However, some of us don’t seem to want to discuss topics of the day. Some of us only want to chat about their latest doings, regardless of the fact that not every one of us is interested. I, for one, am not particularly interested in whether it was raining or sunny in your neck of the woods. And it makes me feel uncomfortably like I’m eavesdropping on someone’s private conversation.

Hy at least Andy didn’t say ‘you and your daughter look great today’

@HippyChippy As it has been pointed out to you.. Like any forum some do have resident posters that post to each other.

As you stated manners cost nothing.. Try it..

and Dr. Toon also……I dont always agree with the comments, but I defend anyones right to post them and Bev and Affi have gotten a lot of us to come out of our shells and make friends here at go comics. ESPECIALLY at Andy Capp. He’s been around over 60 years, and so have some of us. We were all adolescents together, no matter if it be the strip itself or us personally. Let us talk and reminesce. No Harm, No Foul!

beviek, you are correct! He is LAUGHING! A rare shot, but he/she is all owl! I have a beautiful owl as a screensaver I downloaded from Webshots but I couldn’t use it here, so I searched for some similar owls at Bing. I came across this little guy in the process! LOL!
