Darrin often wonders “If I Were a Carpenter”…yeah, he’d build a boat and Sail Away. He’d go Beyond the Sea. but at the end of the day, he’ll sit in the bathtub and Splish Splash around. Especially on Saturday night.even if there is one r too many

I have to disagree with the consensus of opinion on Darin’s use of the hand mirror. He is not self absorbed by choice or inclination. In fact, he is a lonely, lonely man. If his wife would get her nose out of that book and pay the least bit of attention to him, he would abandon that mirror in a flash.

Hmmm, surprised no one has even mentioned Carly Simon’s “you’re so vain”.

I hate mirrors… especially after a rather late night of live music and debauchery….

It’s the BS Effect… pure inspiration..!!!
