Brad’s night vigils are coming to an end. Shirley doesn’t like to do the dishes after 8:00 PM. His focused imagination has slipped as he ran out of good things to think about and now the mood and the darkness are getting ugly. Shirley remembers the excitement and growing anticipation as the dream developed but somehow the sword and armor lost it’s metaphysical allure and Brad was left with the obsession and some old work habits. Once again through the shimmering brilliance of that tiny window, knowledge turns to wisdom and Brad comes down off his high horse.

I don’t care if he is on a saddle. Wouldn’t sitting on a 1-inch wide horse be uncomfortable??
