Horace, let's go CAVE DIVING!
uh...no thanks.
Wats the matter? don't like a challenge?
WELL...
Aw, c'mon, you only love once!
That's why I stay out of the water and/or caves.
Cave diving, the most dangerous sport in existence. Where I go diving there’s a long row of plaques with the names of the divers who lost their lives in the caves there.
As a caver and cave diver since 1959 I will only point out that the majority of cave diving deaths in the U.S. are the result of open water divers with no cave diving training entering water filled caves. Properly done caving and cave diving are exceptionally rewarding activities. The movies referred to in the comments above are just that Hollywood movies made to offer thrills, chills and to make money and are not a realistic depiction of either dry or wet caving.
I agree with Horace and just don’t do anything dangerous. I’ll leave bungee jumping and sky diving to my daughter. I have enjoyed a balloon ride (but hate roller coasters) and I’ve been on short cruises (Lake Michigan diner things) but would not go on one of those where everyone eats all day long and they all get sick. I have just about everything I want at home – so call me boring (but my home cooking is better than most other dining).
I love swimming under water though, as long as I am near land. I still have my diving rock, a gorgeous white quartz rock, from my childhood cottage days.

I guess I’m going to have to read up on the dangers of cave diving. Never really heard of it.

“Seahorse” ……LOL………. Horace might just go for that….I like Horace’s logic here… Sitting on a bar stool is about as far as I go……

I love diving, but just the thought of cave diving makes me feel like screaming… I can’t think of anything more terrifying!

Absolutely hated it. Only good thing about it was I didn’t have reoccuring nightmares afterwards.
