    Keep The Home Fires Burning…while our hearts are yearning…I once saw Peter Jennings get all choked up mid-news broadcast when they played “I’ll Be Seeing You” in the background of a story. Of course that was WW2 but still…it made him more real to the viewer…

    i just realized that — even if we didn’t know peanuts had started in 1950 — this strip would have to be post-WWII, for the simple reason that “World War I” wasn’t called that until after the 2nd war.
