But the french were so wrong. They claimed that if we went in into Iraq it would set off a civil war between Sunni’s and Shia’s and that a lot of people would die horribly for absolutely no reason at all. Well they were wrong, it was ten times worse. Will someone please tell republicans that Sadam had nothing to do with 9-11? You might want to mention that going after bin Laden was a better idea. Which president is currently going after terrorists with viciousness that is a little scary? Scary for the terrorists, that is……

I can’t see myself going with anyone who called them freedom fries in the first place. Not because of his political affiliation, but because he’s a moron. Is his mother’s dog now a freedom poodle? “Ooh … and today I’m mad at the Russians so I’ll call my salad dressing…um… Liberty Bell dressing!”

@Susan: great comments as always. Poodles are actually of German descent, it was the French that are attributed to having given them the ‘Continental Clip’ hairstyling some use. Yes, poodles have hair, not fur.

^ But we called the German soldiers Krauts. So maybe we were afraid people would think we were talking about sour soldiers. ☺

Oh, and I’m reminded that when I was in grade school, my best friend was named Brent. He moved away about Jr High time. Came back to the old neighborhood to visit about the time I was graduating college. Wow, talk about your going different paths and having nothing in common any more. Most awkward conversation for me ever.
