Thankfully, pop-up blockers have been improved since the turn of the millennium — as has adult-content-blocking software.

Even back then you didn’t usually get adult malware unless you were on those sites to begin with. Looks like they may need to talk to Peter.

Mac’s Safari has pop-up blockers that can be set by the user. Windows trolls need to understand that Mac owners are mature enough to set their own parameters rather than have Mommy do it for them. :-)

I use a Mac, their versions of Firefox and Chrome do indeed have popup blockers. I just wanted to see the iFruit think nasty thoughts and I walked into an OS war.

Macs have been popular for much more than 10% of the population for a long time now. They are in fact more difficult to hack. Windows OS is based on an archaic system that has been nothing more than patched to hell and back over the years. I’m a windows user by default but there’s no denying Apple has the much more stable and secure system.

10%? Not by a long shot. And I do stand by what I said (and thanks paytonb — right on). Harder / not worth it / whatever. My Windows laptop was 99% security updates 4-6 times a week. My Macs are 10% (maybe) security updates, and 2-3 times a month. Apple Fan Boy here for a reason.
