Great dialogue and art today! But I cannot believe that even the strongest man would have the upper-body strength to out-wrestle a fully-grown Great Ape and compel it to surrender with a Full Nelson….
When reading Edgar Rice Burroughs, you just go along with the spin of fantasy and enjoy the ride.
The great apes have no real actual counterpart, not chimps and not gorillas, more like yeti or Sasquatch.
They have started a new story, but still have not given us the missing strip #3060. Apparently they just don’t give a damn.
