I read somewhere about a study where it was found that warnings based on what happened to other people who engaged in self-destructive behavior isnāt nearly as effective as a warning based on what can happen to ourselves, personally. A look into our own personal futures would do wonders to change our bad habits and attitudes. Except then they wouldnāt be our futures anymoreā¦

Today the news was talking about loud noises and hearing loss. Iām so glad that I have done much to keep most of my sensen intact (a little problem with eyesight, but fine hearing, taste etc). I DID have many sunburns as a little kid playing outside, thoā and my dad had skin cancer as a golfer before his stomach cancer killed him. I just do the best I can
