One of my father’s cousins worked at the post office in my hometown. That’s my closest PO connection. But I for one am sick of anti-post office comments. In fact I have gone back to paying bills by mail.
I am a current postal employee – I don’t think that the USPS will be around much longer. Congress has torpedoed us repeatedly and we are about to go under.
Let’s have a UPS joke. Like the time they left a parcel in back, leaned up against the house, covered by a snow shovel with no notice of attempted delivery. Yes, I’m USPS, but I don’t know even the laziest carrier who would have delivered like that.
Our postal deliveries are delivered a block away so too far to walk unless nice weather (I drive once or twice a week). I try to get deliveries by UPS or FedX so they come to my door. I always had nice mail persons but my box is a block away and around a corner, so I can only guess when deliveries come and fewer things come all the time. I like the grocery circulars when they are absorbant paper for my bird (and I read many too)

Also make sure your comic sucks EVERY day. Yeah, making a postal service joke is hilarious.

I have never had a problem with the PO. I always pay my bills by mail I want a paper copy since I trust corporations as much as I can throw them.
