This isn’t funny! I found out last month at the doctor’s office that my height is 5’9". When I was 18yrs old I was 5’11" and a half. Guess if I live long enough I’ll turn into a munchkin…….
Nah…it’s the spine compressing with age. My mom used to be 5’2", now, at 98, she’s 4’10". My older sister is starting to shrink too — give us all enough time, and we fold up like telescopes. :)

and sometimes that height changes is due to the person injuring the spine along the path of life. giving them a bit of a limp.
