Never mind the ostrich – what’s that hippo doing up there?

It is a bird from Africa.

Don’t complain, don’t explain…

The hippo needs no explanation. The ostrich is on the same meds. There’ll bevtears before bed time, methinks.

How’s that poor bird going to stick its head in the ground when the ground is so far away?

Is he able to walk on the ceiling? Because Pearls Before Swine did a bit on that and similar themes.

Is it a tree?. I thought he was on the ceiling….but that’s the way my head works (or doesn’t, depending on ones point of view).

And the live chicken….and the peach preserves….

I can’t see a problem. Her Maj is already standing on the wall.

Turn the sound up. Ah. Hear that? “Dance of the Hours.” Somebody’s got a case of the Disneys. Watch out for gators.

I think Pab is just winging it, and getting a surprising amount of mileage out of this.

It’s the comics equivalent of a fan dance, where your imagination does all the work.

Which, of course, is fine as long as it’s not overdone.

Maybe he did the Pippi Longstocking method.

Where he is up is being hotly debated. Possibly a tree, possibly on the ceiling.
