    It ought to be a crime to treat a perfectly good dog that way!!!

    As my Mom used to say: “That’s not good for the dog! You eat it yourself!!”

    And, by the way, a happy sixty years on the throne to the Queen!

    Looks like He did not eat much, if any, of that which was on the plate, so Fred became the “beneficiary.” Acquired tastes require multiple experiences before they are liked. In this case, there may not be a second tasting.

    My mom used to serve us leftovers and say..

    “If you don’t eat it I’m just going to throw it out.”

    or..“I’m just going to give it to the dog.”

    What the heck?..Think about that for a second

    Happened to me in the army. A dog wandered into our encampment at meal time. I tossed a piece of meat to it, but it just sniffed t it and walked away.
