Way to go, Burl, turn your neighbor in. Or wouldn’t it be a good thing to gently remind him of the water restrictions? Better yet, get a gun, go over and start a confrontation with him, claim you are “afraid for your life” and “standing your ground” and just shoot the sucker. Be careful though, we just had a case like that here and a Texas (!!) jury didn’t buy it and convicted the shooter of murder. You know that “Tiny” is still looking forward to seeing you in prison. He likes ’em fat and squealy.

Good Morning Marg and Leaky and Cap’n and Mikie….. and YOU, too, if you sneaked in while I was typing….and everybody to come later….whew. Ever-helpful, our Baby Burl. …… anybody remember the time he called the dogcatcher cos he recognised a dog that was running loose in the street?

He doesn’t want to be cruel… he just wants to make sure everything is “fair” and nobody cheats him, or gets anything HE might be entitled to as well.

Watching Schindler’s List while spying on his neighbors… the irony would be funny to him if he only knew what “irony” meant….or had a sense of humor that went beyond zinging Ma and Jerry.

Don’t the Penney’s live on the even side of the street? That would make the neighbor on the odd side and it could be his day for watering………………………..

norfolk has watering restrictions during drought: no watering. unless you use your own (10 to 15 foot deep) well. folks around here (down the street is our reservoir) just water the crap out of the yard. they got wells. i just don’t Get It. duh.
