I have been weeding, planting and working on my hot tub, all outdoor activities. I am becoming Mr. Tan.

Mr. Tan, huh, cleo? I don’t even want to think of where you got tanned!

Well, I am now a FIRM BELIEVER that animals know when bad weather is coming! We had a thunderstorm this afternoon, normal lightening and thunder, which the cats and kittens don’t get too excited about. They were all upstairs in various rooms, and just like that LICKEDY SPLIT, they came tearing down the stairs, AND I MEAN TEARING! One of them even jumped from the top step to the bottom, and they all DOVE UNDER the couch. Wasn’t anymore then 5 minutes, if that, and we GOT THE WORST THUNDERSTORM WE HAVE HAD IN YEARS! Hail the size of golf balls, rain blowing in ALL directions, we had the windows open on all sides of the house, and rain was pooling at each window. Some of it even came into the room itself, and we have aluminum awnings on the bedrooms, and our porch is covered and about 8 feet wide. Power was out all around the area for hours.

BUT HEY, I LOVE SUMMER! I had a chance to get caught up on going through paperwork! LOL!

Oh yeah, not to mention the yardwork after, picking up BIG pieces of branches that were broken from our Catalpa trees and Maple. Glad I didn’t have my garden planted! My plants would have been “toast”!

Dry, your weather is dramatic, ours seldom is. I like the seldom part of the equasion.
