Boy: Dad, I'm doing an experiment. Do you know what happens when you put baking soda in a bottle of cola? Man: To the best of my recollection, a sticky geyser sprays all over the kitchen and your mother grounds you for life.
take a mason jar water add some kool-aid and a bunch of “Pam”. Shake. not as violent of a reaction from the water as cola/baking soda, but more so with the mom when she finds colored water staining everything the color of the kool-aid.
2 large bolts, 1 large nut to couple them a few threads, fill the couple-space with kitchen match-heads, toss em onto a rock and take a beatin’ from Ma who told you NOT to DO that !!Entertainment at its best for brainless farm-kids..
UncaJim: Tale a paper match, still attached to the full length, but not the packet. Wrap the head tightly with heavy aluminum foil. Heat the head and see how far your rocket goes.

He needs to add Mentos, not baking soda. Then screw the cap on tight and throw the bottle to the ground.
