Good Sunday morning. We are ready for church this morning. That chocolate cake sounds good. One cannot just live on salad. We here in KS will be 100° today. A/C really getting a work out.
Na, that would make him no different than the rest of the cheaters out there. If you’re going to do it, do it right or don’t do it at all. You’re only hurting yourself when you cheat.
I don’t have a weight problem, but I do cheat on controlling my cholesterol. I’ll have an egg every once in a while, but I won’t eat choccolate. I offset the egg with more salmon, which has the good omega 3’s to offset the bad. It’s a good thing I like salmon, but then there are certain kinds of nuts that are high in polyunsaturated fats.
Last week was a quiet. This week only one appointment my hubby’s die test, he informed me after that test he does not go back until 6 months. This Thursday 28th is the test. Hubby and I decided to take a gas run and drove to the hospital he is going to w/o rush hour traffic. The drive took a good 30min’s. Way on the other side in the country of ICT. We were trying to decide the best route to drive. Wow so far out.
And I might add that my cholesterol’s been good, while eating a lot of fish & nuts. High fat content alone, will not drive up cholesterol levels. It’s the saturated & trans fats as well as cholesterol. Pecans, for example have 2g of sat. fat, but 7g of polyunsaturated fat and 11g of monounsaturated fat. As long as I can keep something like that in my snack diet, I can get away with the occasional transgression and still ace my cholesterol test.
As for Lewreader, who knows what his situation is. I don’t want to read anything into it. Last time I checked, he made 3 posts. It’s been several months since his last one.
Good evening Tribal kids. Back from Meramec Caverns. Brought home a geode that they cracked right in front of me. Found out Mr. Barty isn’t fond of elevators. Poor guy, we were on the 3rd floor. If it’s not too late, I’ll have some cornbread with cherry jam. Thanks Josh good menu..Now I have to find a recipe for quadruple chocolate pudding cake. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
We did have a very nice family weekend Sojo. The cave is amazing. It has an underground river and a 150 foot tall curtain of stalagtites and stalagmites. We also stopped at the exotic animal adventure and I got to hold many different lizards, a baby alligator and a 10foot albino anaconda. My son is too young and doesn’t weigh enough for the zip line, but maybe next time. :-).Have a wonderful and peaceful evening everyone. Good night.

Grog – Good Morning! isn’t that what Wink would want to do though?

Grog – Glad to hear Lew is still alive, thanks.

I don’t think so, Sojo. He’d go straight for the chocolate and put a permanent hold on the salad. It doesn’t make it right though.
George Arnold over 12 years ago
At least Wink could say he ate salad for a meal even though it was only part of it?

Kab, there are some things I won’t give up completely. But I can give up chocolate & pizza because I never really liked them to begin with.

I don’t much like deserts, but I really, really, really HATE chocolate, Alain. Just the smell of it makes me want to hurl.
