Dr. Toon, the soap I was sucked into as a kid was The Edge of Night. It was the last soap of the day and my Mom was always watching it when I got home from school. I have not seen a soap since those days.
My mom often did the same thing, but when The Edge of Night came on, she was usually sitting down intently in front of the TV. It was her favorite of all the soaps.
Oh and one more thing, Alain. I don’t eat mayonaise either. I’m into just about any kind of mustard that doesn’t look or taste anything like French’s yellow mustard. And I use it like others would use ketchup and mayo.
Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman was also good (although it’s been a long time since I’ve seen it). It came out the year before Soap but was only on two years. Antenna TV (an over the air station) is showing Soap on it’s line-up now.
I’d love some of that Kweesh! It sure looks good. Thanks, Top Cat!
Our cold front came through…..got down to 41 during the night. Brrrrr…………..but under the blankets no one noticed!
I remember there was a series called “Soap”…..but can’t recall it right now. But I do remember “Hot L Baltimore” and “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman”
Happy 82nd Birthday to Sean Connery! Loved his James Bond and Henry Jones characters.
My grandmother used to love her “stories.” I’d come home from school and she’d start telling me all about everything while I was wondering who these people were and how I knew them.
Good evening. I have been busy. Though today we had Intenet issues. We had to change since AT&T was changing from DSL to fiber optics.Seems some parts of ICT and on that photo above I know that area and does flood. Though one street further north of us floods evan worse not far from a local TV station.
Soon be time for bed. As I said we had no Internet most of day. . Went to local zoo dollar day sponsed by Dillions most wildlife was sleeping. I had to run to my mom. Nice rain we had. Church tomorrow.

Good morning kids. Hope the world is spinning your way today. Everything looks wonderful Top Cat. I think I’ll have a fried egg sandwich and a bowl of fresh fruit. Oh and some Creme Brûlée. Please and thank you..Clown soaps can’t be any worse than regular soaps. Instead of mud slinging, you have pie throwing. And you can’t put that many clowns in a small car and not have some kind of drama. He knocked off my nose, he squashed my squirty flower, no that’s my shoe…I wear the size 52 yours are only 50’s.

Alain, I wanted to spell it as it sounded the first time I heard that expression. I still wouldn’t eat Kweesh nor Eggs Benadict.
Eggs taste their best in bacon grease.
