Well, we took Montana Daughter to the airport yesterday, and after a tearful farewell, she made it back to CA and the last of their heatwave. What a short visit, but we packed in sooooooo much and talked soooooooooo much!!!!

Took her to the Buffalo Jump just outside of Great Falls. It is so beautiful and serene. Very easy to imagine how the early Indian lived and hunted.

Watched the two Indy car races in Houston, Grog…….wow, you’ve had a heatwave too! Something like 30 degrees cooler on Sunday. Big delta!

I don’t think it was that big a delta, Montana Lady, even in North Houston. I live south of Houston, about half way between down town and Galveston island. The daytime highs in my area dropped from the lower 90’s to the lower 80’s. I think the bigger difference may be in the overnight temperatures.

You never know until you try.
