Best wishes for Thanksgiving to all the Americans gathered here today. Up here in Canada, where we celebrated Thanksgiving over a month ago, we are now fully immersed in Christmas advertising and merchandising. It’s all just too over-the-top for me. I’d like to hide until Christmas eve and escape the craziness.
